We kicked off our inaugural ride with 7 riders - 1000km in 7 days from Sydney to Melbourne. That year we raised over $27,000 enabling Gateway Children’s Fund (GCF) to acquire a bus to get their kids safely to and from school.
The ride was a level up, with 15 riders this time raising over $70,000. Through the crew’s effort, GCF was able to add a new classroom to their elementary school, expanding their education program, providing opportunities to even more children.
It was a change up, the first to be done from Adelaide, and was our biggest yet with 21 riders raising a massive $127,000 for GCF - enabling the school to continue being an outpost of hope.
Our ride saw 32 riders ‘loop’ around Victoria, some travelling 700km and others 1300km. These legends raised a massive $170,000 for the nutrition, healthcare and education of kids in need through GCF.
It’s been such a privilege to witness the impact of our partnership with the GCF over the last decade.
And the exciting part? There is still so much more to be done.
